Hair trends come and go, but healthy, shiny hair never goes out of fashion. This style was made popular by Kim Kardashian. Liquid hair is different from glass hair in that it’s all about movement. While sheen can be faked with help from an abundance of hair product, this will not have the right level of flow and movement required for liquid hair. But you don’t actually need to load up on shine spray to create faux flow — all you need is prep!

Clarifying shampoos remove any build-up on the hair and scalp that can affect the way your hair looks. Use a smoothing serum when blow-drying your curls to help straighten each section of hair. Use a flat brush to smooth each section of hair, then blow dry it with the flat brush still attached so that heat is directed down the shaft of each curl. If you want to achieve the best results possible, angle the heat down each hair shaft while blow drying with a flat brush attachment.
To give your hair shine and movement, always straighten small sections at a time.
